Established in 2011, the VitrA Innovation Centre has been awarded the glass and ceramics industry’s most successful innovation centre for 4 consecutive years, based on the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology’s Innovation Centre Performances Index.

VitrA Hygiene is a unique glazing process developed by VitrA that prevents germ multiplication. From washbasins to WCs, bidets to urinals, products produced with our VitrA Hygiene technology offer superior hygiene throughout the product's lifetime.
VitrA Clean
VitrA Clean is a surface finish that makes VitrA sanitaryware product incredibly easy to care for. This special glazing process increases surface tensions so the water flows easily from the surface. All that's needed to keep the basins clean is a wipe with a damp cloth and the use of a mild detergent, making cleaning easier and helping to keep your bathroom looking its best. VitrA Clean is on a variety of basins including the Outline range.
VitrA Rim-ex
VitrA's rimless WC pan technology alleviates one of the most unhygienic aspects of traditional WC design, where hard to clean rims can harbour germs and allow them to multiply unchecked. The unique design of our Rim-ex pans incorporates a water diverter to direct the flush around the bowl, which can be removed easily for cleaning.

VitrA Fresh WC pan features an integral tank that dispenses detergent with every flush, helping to clean the pan thoroughly and protect against the build-up of bacteria. VitrA Fresh prevents the need to add cleaning agents to the cistern, wich can corrode the flushing mechanism. VitrA Fresh is currently available in the M-Line series.

VitrA V-Agent
VitrA V-Agent Technology is a smart surface technology that reduces the effect of human coronaviruses and bacteria* both on floor and wall tiles by 99.99%. Thanks to V-Agent, you will feel the comfort of hygiene and safety in domestic areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, halls, and terraces; and also in public areas. *V-Agent technology is effective against human coronaviruses Human Coronavirus 229E and OC43 and bacteria E. coli ve S. aureus and its effect on these viruses and bacteria has been proven through the tests conducted at TCNA - North American Ceramic Council laboratories.

VitrA Clean 2.0
VitrA Clean is a surface technology that makes VitrA Tiles easy to clean. Tiles can be easily cleaned with the help of a waterdamped wipe or with addition of mild cleaning agents, if needed. This permanent feature provides great convenience to the users when cleaning both commercial and residential areas. With VitrA Clean 2.0, not only wall tiles but also floor tiles can now have VitrA Clean technology.
VitrA Block
Watermark is a general problem occurring on white wall tiles due to water absorption. Wall tiles produced with VitrA Block Technology reduces water absorption on the wall tiles which provides clean and no watermark look on the tile surface. A new engobe recipe has been developed with 0% water absorption without making any change on body recipe, firing cycle and tiling. Thanks to this new recipe, VitrA Block provides a clean and spotless look on the white wall tiles.
VitrA Glowsafe
Thanks to VitrA GlowSafe Technology, stair tiles accumulate daylight energy and reflect this energy stored in dark in the form of light, which allows safer walk in the dark. It increases the visibility of the stairs with the phosphorescent light that it provides in the dark, preventing possible accidents and reduces unnecessary lighting costs, both in indoor and outdoor areas.
